There is something about Jadite glass that gives me such comfort evoking warmth, home, and good cookin’.
Depending on your space, this auction piece becomes an island, a table, or a dining bar. The trick to making great pieces like this really pop is by ensuring they are prominent in the space. Nothing takes the place of real patina.
Accessorizing is easy, fun, ad not a bank breaker. Collections like this can be picked up for under $50- $400 +. Some may be more yellow hued while other pieces are blue hued but all share a milky characteristic this is the basis of the collection. The perfection is in the non-perfection. Buy in lots, at tag sales, and at acuction.
I would not over use this mosaic tile but as in inset it really pops blending vintage with now. I also like it because it introduces copper…a luxury metal when Jadite was all the rage. I think the combination is history rich, elegant, and stunning.
